With vacation destinations finally opening up again after being closed for so long due to Covid - everyone is now thinking about traveling again. One of the best parts about traveling is getting to explore new sights and trying out fresh foods. However, after a long day of travel and doing all sorts of touristy stuff, all you want to do is go to your hotel room, order some room service, and relax in your comfy bed.
A good hotel stay is an essential part of your overall traveling experience, and a bad hotel can easily ruin your whole trip. So, from booking a suitable hotel to getting a great room, here are eight crucial tips for an excellent hotel stay.
And by that, we don't just mean getting your money's worth of free soaps and shampoos!
If you start searching for hotels right away, you will find it quite challenging to find the perfect one for yourself. Every hotel will seem to lack something or the other. To make your search easy and ensure that you get a suitable hotel, you have to first consider your needs.
What do you require during a hotel stay to make your time spent comfortable? Do you need a pool or a gym? Do you want breakfast services? Are you looking for a room within a specific budget or of a certain size?
When you have all these down, it becomes much easier to filter through all the unsuitable hotels and reach the ones that fit the bill.
This is a no-brainer. If you want to see what the hotel service is like, you need to go through all its reviews. The hotel will be all praises in their marketing, but actual customer reviews will paint an accurate picture.
These reviews will give you a first-hand account of what the hotel was really like and how well they serve guests. If the reviews keep mentioning bad food or rude employees, you will know to stay away from those hotels.
The hotel's price is always a significant concern, and that's usually the first thing that most people consider. However, if you genuinely want to stay within your budget and get the best price, you will have to assess and compare them thoroughly.
Instead of relying on just online hotel booking platforms, check the hotel prices through their official channel. Sometimes, it can be much more inexpensive to book the hotel by contacting them directly.
Moreover, when you evaluate and compare the prices, check precisely what is included in those packages. Do they include Wi-Fi or breakfast or parking charges, or will you have to pay for them separately, thereby increasing your costs?
One of the most crucial tips for an excellent hotel stay is to assess the location. We can't stress this enough. Just the location of the hotel alone can completely change the experience of the trip.
A hotel located in a prime location, near all the tourist spots, metro stations, buses, shops, etc., will significantly cut down your traveling time and give you more opportunities to explore the place. If there are specific attractions that you want to visit, you can search for hotels nearby.
Getting a hotel in a good location will also save you money as you won't be getting multiple taxis to get from one place to the other.
If you didn't book your hotel stay beforehand and all the hotels around you seem to display the no vacancy sign, don't lose hope just yet. Not all hotels that put up a no vacancy sign have no vacant rooms.
Sometimes, they keep a few rooms in reserve, or some rooms might be going under some minor maintenance. If you ask politely, they might let you rent a room somehow. While this might not always work, it's worth a shot when you're running out of options.
6. Let the Hotel Know About Any Special Occasions
If you have any special occasions coming up, such as a birthday, anniversary, or even if you are on your honeymoon, make sure to inform the hotel beforehand.
Sometimes, certain hotels can upgrade your room free of cost and throw in other benefits for the sake of a birthday boy or newly-wed couple. Moreover, if they need to make any other special arrangements, this allows them to do that.
Your work doesn't stop at booking and securing a room. Once you have arrived at your room, before you take a nap on the bed or start putting your stuff away in the closet, do a thorough survey of the room. Does it not have the lovely view that you wanted? Do you hear a lot of noise from the guests next door?
If there's any problem in the room, you should let the hotel know as soon as possible as this allows them to make the necessary adjustments quickly. You can even ask them to show you a few rooms within your price range and perhaps let you choose one that you like most.
Many people make this mistake during their hotel stay. If they forget anything, like a hairdryer or umbrella, they instantly become grouchy about forgetting something at home.
However, something not everyone might know is that most hotels carry the usual items you need every day and are always happy to lend them. So, the next time you forget to bring your hair straightener or need an iron, don't let it ruin your whole trip and inquire at the front desk if it can be arranged for you.
While you rely on these crucial tips for an excellent hotel stay for yourself, you also have to think about being a good guest for the hotel staff. Always follow the proper hotel stay etiquette. This will make the hotel employees' lives easier and, ultimately, make them more willing to make things easier for you too.

Has it ever happened to you that you are incredibly excited to buy a pair of jeweled sandals? You get them, and you wear them once only to regret your choice. They are either too small or too big or hurt too much that they cause blisters. Now, not only do your feet hurt, but all your money goes down the drain!
There are some tips that you can use to avoid this mistake. Along with that, there are many other mistakes that one can make while buying sandals. We have compiled a list of the most common mistakes that buyers make while buying sandals. So, continue reading to learn five mistakes to avoid while buying sandals and shoes.
You may be thinking to yourself, "oh, what a silly mistake to make! How can you get the wrong size?" You can. Many people do, and you may be one too. Therefore, it's best to always buy shoes when you have time.
Some pairs of shoes fit best in the size you typically wear, but some styles may be a little tight, so you should get a size bigger. Especially styles like kitten heels, or similar pointed shoe styles where your feet don't go all the way in, usually require a bigger size.
Try it, walk around and see if the size feels too tight, is too big, causing your sandal to slip off, or is just perfect.
One of the most common mistakes to avoid while buying sandals is to prefer style over comfort. Even if the sandals look pretty on your feet, you won't be wearing them often if they bite and cause blisters.
Every time you wear them, you will be in pain and won't be able to enjoy the event as much as you can in more comfortable footwear. Therefore, you should always prioritize comfort overlooks. Nevertheless, it's ideal if you get both comfort and style. If you're looking for sandals that check both the boxes, you can look up the several jeweled sandals options from Grandco.
There are too many things that can go wrong with the color you choose. Of course, a bright-colored pair of sandals can make your outfit stand out, but at the same time, not every color is wearable.
Moreover, it's not necessary that if the color looks good on somebody else, you would like it on yourself too. Therefore, check out all the colors when you like a style. Wear them and see which one do you like best on your feet.
Also, remember to buy a color you don't have and go with more than one outfit. You would your new sandals to effortlessly pair with as many outfits as it can, right?
Buying shoes could be an impulsive decision, but you do want to put some thought into it. If you are buying them in the summer, will you be able to wear it comfortably in the heat? Can you wear it outside? Are they comfortable walking in?
If you're buying for the cold weather, will the material be able to stop the cold? Will they be slippery on the snow? Are they water-resistant or waterproof to be wearable on rainy days?
Some places have flexible, accommodating return and exchange policies. Others, however, are more stringent. Therefore, look at the return and exchange policy while buying just if you are not satisfied with your purchase and would have to come again.
The trend of buying shoes online has also grown exponentially. Previously, people were not as comfortable ordering sandals online as they felt that they could never be satisfied buying shoes unless they test the shoes by wearing them. Now, however, people are more open to trying online options. Sometimes, it's a miss, while at other times, it's a hit.
To ensure that your purchase is always a hit, here are some mistakes to avoid while buying sandals online.
Online ads are so attractive that they have the power to make you buy their product instantly. At times like these, buyers order the product and think about its quality later. Make sure that you don't do this while buying shoes.
You don't want to be disappointed while you order something that looks pretty online but looks substandard and shabby when it arrives. Therefore, always order from credible places that have genuine pictures up.
Always see if the images that online websites have uploaded are genuine or rip-offs from some other brands.
Another thing that sets you up for disappointment is not verifying if the product is in the exact shade that the image shows. Often, the product description puts a disclaimer saying that the shade in the image may be a little different from the product due to lighting and camera.
A way to check the product's exact color is to see the comments section. Some buyers do put pictures of the product they received. If you're lucky, you can see the actual color that you will receive.
What is your method to check the credibility of online pages? If they have enough followers? You will be surprised to know that even Instagram and Facebook pages with many followers may be scams.
Therefore, the best way to ensure that the page you're ordering from is credible is to check reviews. See what's the page's rating is if they have testimonials from buyers. Another way to ensure if they are genuine is to ask around. Ask in your circle if they have brought from the place and were satisfied with their purchase.

The number of shoes and sandals you own keeps increasing depending on the occasion you must attend, the footwear's material, time of the year, time of the day, and so many other factors. While we are all for "the more, the merrier," the problem arises when you have to store your dozens of footwear.
If you are struggling with the same problem and need tips on how to store your sandals, you have come to the right place.
Continue reading to learn tips on how to store your sandals the right way.
Let's be honest. We all have seen people who have piles of shoes dumped in the corner of their closet, and we wonder how they ever find stuff in these mounds. Other than the fact that this storage system (or lack of) is impractical and unfeasible, it also damages your white jeweled sandals and shoes.
You can imagine what would happen to your sandals and shoes are loaded with the weight of other shoes. They lose shape.
Moreover, being constantly in a humid condition would damage them. For example, you might have witnessed that some soles detach from the shoes without much wear because they lose their stickiness due to constant humidity.
Similarly, jeweled sandals may lose their beads and jewels, and leather shoes may shred their leather because of the moisture. You need practical, feasible, long-term storage to keep your shoes looking brand-new and to get the most wear out of them.
Now, on to the tips on how to store your sandals and shoes.
There is usually a pair of sandals or shoes that are your go-to. Going out to run some errands, these are your shoes. Going out to drop off kids at school, you slip these on your feet. Going to the mall, you don't think and put these on. Of course, we all have a pair or two of such shoes that we put on while going out to do mundane activities.
Start by making a permanent place to store these. Since you wear them every day, it would be impractical to keep them in your closet or put them in a box. So, find a place near your main entrance. Get an absorbent mat and place it near it, so you can keep your shoes here when you enter the house.
If you are looking for shoe storage ideas for a bigger family, you can get a bigger absorbent mat. You can also get a bench and place the mad under it. This way, it's easier to take off and put on your shoes, and you can store the shoes right there.
If you are looking for tips on how to store your sandals for only yourself, this might be easy for you. Look for a place near the entrance door where you can place a small cubby or shoes rack that can store all your shoes and sandals that your seat frequently. Ensure that this place has good air passage so that your shoes remain dry and smelling fresh.
However, if you have a bigger family, then you might have a problem. If you have ample space near your entrance where you can place a bigger shoe cupboard, then that's great. If not, you would have to be creative with what you have.
You can either place a long vertical cupboard in the space you have or get a multifunctional bench with storage underneath. You can also look at creative DIY ideas for shoe storage and see if something seems doable and suitable for your space.
If you have kids and adults in your house, the over-the-door caddy will help assort all the dozens of shoes you have laying around the house.
It seems like children have more shoes than you do. Teenagers, especially, have too many shoes and sandals. If their closets are filled with too many clothes, store their shoes in caddies so that they don't clutter up.
There is no substitute for the cardboard shoebox that the shoes initially come in. It makes sense why you would not want to hold on to all the boxes as they take too much space.
However, some types of footwear should remain stored in these types of shoe boxes. These include your expensive sandals and heels. Jeweled sandals and stilettos are so dainty that they require the protection that solid boxes provide.
A problem with storing shoes in cardboard shoeboxes is that you tend to forget which box carried which pair of shoes. After all, out of sight, out of mind. You should write the color and style of the shoes on the box with a big black marker so that you can tell all the options you have stored.
This may seem like an extra step, but this is one of the most-needed tips on how to store your sandals and shoes. You should stuff acid-free tissue paper in your sneakers, boots, strappy and jeweled sandals so that they maintain their shape and don't begin to look worn out.
Moreover, acid-free tissue is also helpful because it absorbs moisture in your shoes and keeps your shoes from deteriorating.
Have you noticed the silica packets that are in the shoeboxes of your new shoes? They are there for a reason. Silica absorbs any dampness that may be in the shoes or the box and keeps your shoes free from damage.
You must also add packets of silica gel in the boxes that store your expensive boots, heels, and jeweled sandals.
Finding practical and feasible storage solutions for your shoes is a must. We hope that the above tips on how to store your sandals and shoes will help you. You can look search online to find space-efficient storage options or other creative DIY storage ideas.
When you have that sorted, you can look at the new variety of jeweled sandals and comfortable slides now available on The Accessory Barn. You can never have too many sandals.

You knew that we would be starting our list from this. Ballet flats are the most classic and wearable set of shoes that everyone must have at least one of these.
Ballet flats are not just superbly comfortable and are practically the most wearable shoes. You can wear them to school, in meetings, while running errands, and literally everywhere.
Moreover, they pair effortlessly with every attire. Be it a casual summery dress or a fall jumpsuit, or formal workplace attire; you can trust your ballet flats to complete your look.
They come in a variety of materials such as leather and suede and various colors. If there is a color you must get ballet flats in, it should be a neutral brown or a matte black as they go along with every color.
Heels could not be far behind. Now that we are talking about every type of sandal that every woman needs in her closet, we could not have committed the crime of ignoring heels.
While all pairs of heels are not comfortable, and exceptionally high heels pain your feet, they are such a style statement that you must have at least one pair of heels in your closet. Of course, the more, the merrier.
If you want to stand out, heels should be your go-to. If it's a party, wedding, formal office event, you can depend on your high heels to add style quotient to your look.
They add spark and oomph to your look. Be it a little black dress or a long silver gown; your heels would effortlessly complete your look and confidence and grace to your walk.
Simple, single-strap heels are the most in right now. They are also more wearable than strappy heels, which limits the occasions you can wear them to. Get classy heels in black or gold, as these two colors go with most outfits. However, if you are looking for something more daring and outstanding, you can choose a bright red. That will surely turn all heads towards you.
This is one of the styles of sandals that every woman needs in her closet. You need at least one pair of thong sandals for the summer weather.
There are some places you cannot wear your casual flip-flops too, but you want the same comfort that they give you. For such occasions, thong sandals come in handy. They are as comfortable as your flip-flops but definitely are more presentable.
They are perfect for a quick drop-off to your child's school, a trip to your neighbor's, or some grocery shopping. Getting a good-quality pair of thongs will last you a long time. One of the most affordable and durable styles of thong sandals we recommend are those from Grandco. Its styles are chic, affordable, and durable. They are also ideal if you don't prefer wearing something completely flat as they have an inch of height.
One of the best-selling designs is the Grandco Triple Vase. It comes in three standard colors; black, white, and brown. You can check them out to see what the hype is all about. Indeed, you would not regret this purchase, and they will hold a lasting place in your closet.
Just like you need comfortable outdoor appropriate sandals for the summer, you need a practical set of footwear for the winters. Slip-on sneakers are comfortable and easy to wear.
If you are looking to get one pair of sneakers, you must get them in either white or black. White slip-ons are the most comfortable, and you must have seen practically every teenager wearing them. They are in trend, and white appears to go along with every outfit. If you are scared that white will get dirty quickly, get a darker color, such as black. Black, as we know, also goes with everything.
Sometimes you want something playful yet comfortable. In such cases, T-straps will be your best call as they are stylish yet comfortable. They are perfect for summer. You can wear them down with a summery dress or wear them up with more formal attire and darker makeup, and they will go equally well with both kinds of looks.
We recommend T-strap sandals when you want something easy on the feet, but also something that looks good. If you are going on a plane or traveling via road, choose T-strap sandals for the ride if you are not a shoe person. They will be comfortable yet make you look put-together and presentable.

Are you fed up with your shoes getting worn out too quickly? Does it seem that all you do is invest in good pairs, only to give them away after using them for a few months? Unfortunately, this appears to be a common problem amongst people, especially the office-going folks.
You have come to the perfect place if you don't want to replace your footwear every couple of months and are looking for ways to extend their lives. We will share some tips and tricks on how to make your sandals last longer.
First of all, you should realize that not every pair of shoes and sandals can be saved and used for a long time. Some styles are used so regularly that they will wear out even if you care for them properly. So, don't expect to extend the lives of your ballet flats that you wear to your office or the sneakers that you wear to soccer practice. You know you will have to get a new pair of your everyday footwear in a few months, so it is better not to invest in a high-end pair of shoes.
Instead, buy something that looks good, goes with most of your office outfits, and is comfortable. Save your big bucks for classic pairs. These could be a gorgeous pair of black or nude heels for women, and for men, they could be the perfect leather shoes that compliment your formal looks.
At the same time, make sure that if you are purchasing a luxurious brand, they are worth your money. Not every high-end item provides quality and comfort. Therefore, look up online reviews, talk to people who have bought footwear from that brand, and make the purchase when your heart is set and content on it. You will love your purchase even more, when it would fit your feet perfectly, is comfortable, and finish off your look effortlessly. In such cases, you can also expect that care and caution would increase their longevity.
Let's face it. If you know it's going to rain, and you still wear a pair of heels or fancy shoes, you are responsible for the death of your shoes.
Wear weather-appropriate shoes. If it's going to be hot, wear strappy sandals, beaded slides, rhinestone flip flops, wedge sandals, or ballet flats. Take out your boots if it is cold. Be incredibly particular about what you wear when it rains. Water is the quickest to damage your footwear. So, wear waterproof shoes.
If you meet rain unexpectedly, be quick to remove excess moisture from your shoes and stuff tissue paper or newspaper so that they absorb moisture from your shoes and help them retain their shape.
Lack of storage space is a legit issue, but you wouldn't want to load your shoes one on top of the other ever. It increases the risk of transferring color. Moreover, the force from the shoes piled up over them wilts them.
There is a variety of space-efficient storage boxes that you can buy so that none of your shoes touch each other. Please keep all of them in separate boxes and stuff newspapers in them to retain their shape. You must do this step especially with pairs that are dainty, like your jeweled sandals or strappy stilettos.
Trust us; this is one of the most important tips about how to make your sandals last longer.
We often tend to wear the same pair of footwear that we like all throughout the season.
For instance, if we have gotten neutral beige-colored jeweled sandals that go with most of our office outfits, we will likely keep wearing them every day. Not having to put any thought into which sandals to wear may save us some time early in the morning, but it indeed affects that pair of sandals. Footwear needs time to recover, and wearing the same pair of shoes every day does not allow that to happen.
Has it ever happened to you that you look at your favorite pair of leather shoes and wonder, "when did those get so dull? They look like a thousand years old!" Leather quickly gets dull if they are now well-cared for. Therefore, polish and condition your leather shoes with cream polish. Instead of buying a cream polish yourself, you can also go to a cobbler, and they would make your shoes look like they are brand new.
Use one part vinegar and three parts water. It is this simple to remove salt stains from your shoes. Don't apply water alone. Instead, make this easy concoction, dip a towel, and wipe off the salt stains from your favorite pair of shoes. Wait for them to dry, and you will see they will be back to looking brand-new in no time.
Is it that you are struggling to remove oil stains from your shoes instead of salt? The remedy is even easier. Grab a bottle of baby powder and generously sprinkle it over the stains. The powder will absorb the oil and remove stains such that they never existed.
It would help if you bought a protectant spray that will make your shoes waterproof. So, no damage or wilting from snow or water, and no salt marks! You can easily get such sprays in shopping marts around you. Spray them all over the surface of your shoes, and get rid of wilting, salt stains, and scratches.
Seeing your favorite pair of footwear tear, break, or getting worn out is saddening, especially if it happens after wearing them only for a few months. However, there are many ways this can be prevented or at least get extended. Follow the ways we have shared about how to make your sandals last longer, and extend the lives of your favorite footwear.
If you are looking for a pair of good-quality sandals that will surely last you a long time with some care, then head over to The Accessory Barn. Here, you can find various, good-quality jeweled sandals at the best prices.

Shopping online can sometimes be a scary experience - we have all heard about people purchasing an item, and it arrives, and it was nothing like the photo shown, or the size is off. You never know what’s going to turn up, and the waiting time almost feels like torture.
However, whether it’s because of COVID-19 restrictions or simply because you are feeling lazy to venture outside, shopping online doesn’t have to be scary at all.
With these eight tips for buying sandals online, you will be able to spruce up your shoe closet with your favorite jeweled sandals and heels without ever stepping a foot outside! Here’s what you need to remember.
Since you are not physically in the shop, judging and picking up different sandals, the only way to browse the collection is through the pictures provided on the online website. However, just like you would carefully examine the sandal physically, take the time to have a close look at the images. Try to zoom in and see the sandal from all angles if possible. This will give you a better idea of what to expect in real life and not get disappointed if you suddenly get a sandal with a smaller heel than expected or a round shape instead of the square one you assumed.
Moreover, if the website features models wearing the sandals, that’s even better because you get to see what it looks like in real life and how it would potentially look on your feet.
This is something a lot of people tend to miss when buying sandals online. They look at the images, check the price, and they’re done. However, one crucial thing that they miss out on is the description of the sandals. Again, you’re not in the physical store, so you can’t touch and feel everything. Sandal descriptions can help you out, though. They often mention what material the sandal is made of, its weight, its components, etc., all of which can better help you choose the right one.
One of the most important things you need to do when buying sandals online or even when purchasing them in-store is measuring your feet correctly. If you don’t know the correct size of your feet, you will always struggle with finding the right jeweled sandals for yourself.
And this is especially important during an online purchase since you won’t have the option to try different sizes. When measuring your feet, do it at the end of the day when your feet are at their biggest. Place your foot on a sheet of paper and use a pencil to draw the outline of your foot.
Then measure from your tallest toe to the heel. You should also measure both feet as sometimes they can have different sizes. Once you’ve got the size right, you can study the size charts given with every sandal and choose the one that best fits you.
As mentioned earlier, online shopping can be scary because it can be a risk at times. You can get scammed and receive something totally else from what you ordered. Or you might find it to be below expectations.
Either way, you need to save yourself from that disappointment, and the best way to do that is to stick to brands you’ve already tried before or been recommended. Even if they strictly operate online, stick to places that you have personally tried and tested. For instance, if you ordered jeweled sandals from The Accessory Barn and had a great experience, it’s a good idea to stick with them for your future sandal needs as well.
If you’re feeling very unsure, it’s a wise idea to experiment with a simple pair first. Don’t go ahead and buy expensive heels for an important occasion. Instead, go for simple flip-flops or T-straps so that you can judge the entire shopping experience, from waiting time to customer service to product quality. Once you’re satisfied with this experiment, you can go ahead and try other beaded or jeweled sandals.
Another crucial thing you need to do is study the returns and exchange policy offered by the store. Knowing this beforehand can save you a lot of trouble down the road. When buying sandals online, there’s always a small chance that you won’t like what you bought, and therefore, you will want to get it exchanged or returned right away.
So, make sure you know how much time you have left to return it or what the conditions are for exchanging items. This way, you can avoid a lot of hassle and ensure that you have a smooth shopping experience.
If you do think you might end up returning or exchanging an item, make sure to try on the sandals right away. Don’t wait a few weeks, or else you might miss the return window. Moreover, when you are trying the sandals, please don’t remove any of the tags and walk in them in a clean area so that you don’t damage them or get them dirty. This also ensures that you are able to return it easily if the need arises.
Customer reviews can also reveal a lot. If the store’s products aren’t of good quality, or they take too much in shipping, or they don’t take returns, you can find out all of it from the reviews section. Therefore, make sure you go through all the ratings and reviews carefully to learn all about the store’s service.
Even if it seems scary, buying sandals online can be pretty fun too. You can shop anytime from the comfort of your home without any salesperson hovering behind you. Moreover, with these crucial tips, you don’t have to worry about getting the wrong jeweled sandals either.
Now, if you are wondering where to start your online shopping spree from, simply visit The Accessory Barn, where we have a wide range of stylish and comfortable sandals for everyone. Moreover, with our excellent customer support and returns policy, you are bound to have a great time shopping with us!

If you are thinking of upgrading your summer wardrobe, you might also add a few cute sandals that are pretty easy on the feet and even easier to pair with more outfits than one.
Continue reading to find out the best sandals for casual wear. This is helpful for those looking for a couple of options of jeweled sandals; to add a little spark to your footwear collection.
The first one on our list is the classic ballet flats. Not surprising, right? These never go out of style. Be it your formal workplace outfit or a casual t-shirt and jeans look, ballet flats will effortlessly complete your look.
Buy a couple of pairs in beige and black, and you will undoubtedly be able to pair these with most of your outfits.

Dress them down with a casual skirt or jeans, or oomph up your dress by wearing these. If you're uncomfortable in high heels yet want to add a few inches to your height, wedges won't disappoint.
Booties are another classic style that is certain to look good on everyone. You must have a pair (or two or more) of stylish booties that you can flaunt during the winters. You look around and see girls and women strutting around in high heels, which are visibly painful but oh-so-beautiful. You miss the days you would walk around with confidence in such footwear. Now, as you've grown older, you must prefer comfort over fashion.
Or could it be that both comfort and fashion could be combined? We are here to suggest ways how you can do that and to challenge the notion that comfortable footwear is boring. Instead, it could oomph up your look to the right quotient without you having blisters on your feet or backaches.
Learn how to choose fashionable jeweled sandals and shoes that are comfortable sandals for older women.
Fashion trends are changing at such a fast pace that you won't be able to keep up. So why bother? Instead, take a moment and think what's your style. Do you like peep-toes or wedges? Are the newly-trending clear heels not your style? Then forget those and assess what you like.
Once you have figured out what footwear style you gravitate towards, searching for the perfect, most comfortable pair of footwear gets easier.
As you grow older, you need to realize that not every trend is worthy enough to follow. It's better to recognize your style and get good quality footwear that you can pair with your looks repeatedly.
While heels are sure to hurt your feet if you wear them for an extended period of time, some occasions call for a pair of elegant heels.
For instance, if you're going to a formal dinner or an intimate wedding, simple flats will not be appropriate and will bring down your look. However, the heels don't have to be stilettos or cone heels. Instead, you can choose comfortable wedges or a smaller heel as they will go with your look and won't make your feet hurt.
If you're invited to a gathering where flats would be considered too simple, choose a nice pair of kitten heels or court shoes or even comfortable jeweled sandals. Not only will they add some spark to your look, but you'll be comfortable while looking super chic.
You went to your friend's place and wore these cute kitten heels, but you didn't know you would have to make a stop at the mall later. What do you do now?
Wearing heels for a long time is not good for anybody. It's especially bad for your feet and back as you grow older. So, to save your back and feet from these unforeseen circumstances, we advise you to keep a comfortable pair of shoes in your car at all times.
A pair of slip-on or jeweled sandals are great, but even a pair of flip-flops will do the job.
As you grow older, you naturally start preferring comfort, convenience, and longevity in everything. Footwear is no different. Before, you would buy a pair of shoes only because they would look gorgeous, but they would require you to break them in. Meanwhile, they would leave you with blisters and bleeding feet. Now, you don't have the patience or desire for that.
It's a good thing that most styles of footwear that are designed to cater to comfort don't even require you to break them in. Be it a pair of flats or slip-on, jeweled sandals or wedges, they wouldn't hurt your feet from the first wear.
Just like you consider the weather when choosing what to wear, you must do the same when choosing your footwear.
Hot weather calls for comfortable sandals, flip-flops, and T-straps. During summers, you can easily add some color to your outfit by wearing bright sandals or a great pair of white sandals. Don't shy away from adding some prints, especially florals.
However, bright colors and big prints get a little risky during colder months. Your safest bets are to pair your looks with footwear of neutral and warmer tones. So, please take out your beige, browns, and blacks and pair them with your long coats.
Also, while it may be tempting to get your old laced booties out, know better and stay away from heels. Especially if it snows where you live, choose safety over appearance, and stick with insulated boots. Uggs are back in fashion, so you may want to invest in a good pair.
You've to think that now that you've gotten older, would you be okay wearing something slightly uncomfortable and pain-inducing? If you are, well and good. This means that you can adopt the trial and error method. When you like a pair, you can get it. Even if it's not the most comfortable, you could still wear them occasionally.
However, if you know that comfort comes first and you will not compromise on that, it's best that you do some prior research on which pair of sandals to get.
It's a digitized world, which has made it extremely easy to find any and every piece of information. Look up on Google for brands that make comfortable sandals, such as The Accessory Barn. You can go on their website and check reviews and ratings of the pair of footwear you like: the more reviews and the higher the rating, the greater the chance that you will like them.
Just like you've made some changes to your wardrobe as you've grown older, your footwear requirements must have changed as well. However, do away with the misconception that comfortable footwear cannot look stylish. The perfect pair of jeweled sandals can not only up the fashion quotient of your look but can do so without compromising on comfort.
Now that you have gotten some ideas on combining comfort with fashion, you must be thinking about where to start looking. The Accessory Barn is the perfect place for you. Head over to the website and surf through countless chic yet comfortable sandals for older women.

Whether it's your wedding or a friend's, choosing an outfit for a special occasion can sometimes be a near-impossible task. You will keep second-guessing your choices till the end and keep feeling like you should have chosen that other dress or that other necklace or that other purse.
Similarly, one of the hardest things to do is choose the perfect pair of jeweled sandals that go great with your outfit and lets you enjoy the night as well. But you need not worry because after a lot of research and many bleeding feet later, we've got just the tips to choose the perfect sandals for a wedding.
One of the most important things you need to consider to ensure you get that perfect pair of jeweled sandals is your style. You must have spent hours and hours to find that perfect dress that best fits the occasion and represents your style and fashion as well.
Then you might have obsessed over all the little details such as wearing the right jewelry to accentuate your features, carrying the right purse to complete the look, and even experimenting with several hairdos. After all that effort, you can't risk ruining your look with a pair of mismatched sandals.
That's why you need to consider your choice of sandals for the occasion carefully. Choose one that best goes with your overall style. Does your dress have any slight hints of color that you can use to compliment your sandals? What kind of detailing does the dress have? If you're wearing some fancy jewels, you can replicate them with a pair of jeweled sandals.
This is an essential tip that you should use when you are choosing a pair of sandals or shoes for any occasion. You have to think about the venue before you select a pair of sandals. Trust us; this can save you so much trouble.
We've heard so many stories about people twisting their ankles by wearing a pair of stilettos at a beach or garden wedding. Some sandals are not made for every kind of terrain. Therefore, make sure you know exactly what kind of a venue you are going to.
If it's in a church or ballroom, you can wear pretty much anything you like, be it with heels or without heels. However, if the wedding is in a garden or on a beach, the ground will be soft.
As a result, it will be incredibly uncomfortable and dangerous to go in your heels as they will keep sinking into the ground. Instead, you could consider wearing simple flats. If you want to wear some heels, consider wearing wedges.
We get it. It's a wedding, there will be loads of people all dressed up and fancy, and with all that, you want to make sure you stand out from the rest. And one way to do that is to wear outrageously high heels that make you stand out. However, such heels are not exactly known for their comfort.
They can be incredibly painful and even dangerous, and by the time the wedding festivities end, you might find yourself sporting cuts or blisters in your feet. So, while it is pretty tempting to wear some super stylish or elegant sandals, your primary concern should be comfort.
If it looks great but has you in misery after every step, it's not the one to purchase. Such sandals will only ruin the wedding and memories of that day. So, stick to sandals that look great but, more importantly, feel great as well.
If you are buying new sandals for the occasion, specifically make sure you wear them before the day. If you are planning to order them online, try to do it well before time so that if there's an issue, you can deal with it right away. Returning or exchanging for a different size can take a few days, so keep that in mind.
Besides that, once you get the jeweled sandals or beaded sandals, take some time to break them in. Wear them around the house for a while so that they can loosen and better fit your feet. Try to walk in them in a clean area of the house with a rug not to risk damaging the soles or dirtying the sandal.
This is also important to remember if you plan to return the sandals as stores won't refund worn sandals. Breaking your sandals in will make it more comfortable to wear on the actual day, and you will feel much more confident strutting around in your new sandals.
You also have to think about the future of the sandals. How many times do you plan to wear them? If it's your wedding, you might have some sentimental attachment to the sandals, and you might not want to wear them that often.
Therefore, you can choose to get something very unique or flashy or even splurge on something super expensive. On the other hand, if you plan to buy a sandal that you will wear again and again, you will have to wear a much more careful choice.
For instance, in that case, you will want to choose something in neutral colors like beige or cream, which you can wear with other outfits in the future as well.
Now that you know these five tips to choose the perfect sandals for a wedding, you can go ahead and pick your favorite jeweled sandals with confidence. Following these tips, you are bound to have a great time at the wedding party while also showing off your fantastic pair of sandals.
Suppose you're confused about where to start looking; head over to The Accessory Barn. We have an entire range of beaded and jeweled sandals that will go with various occasions, be it a walk around town, a fancy brunch, or even a wedding!

Is there anything better than a day at the beach? Whether you are five years old or fifty, there’s no one that doesn’t enjoy a beach vacation. Even if you don’t go in the water, even just sitting by it is enough to soothe your nerves and put you in a better mood. Not to mention, you can get a great tan and show off your new bathing suit as well.
However, there’s just one thing that can spoil your day, and that is your sandals. It’s impossible to figure out what to wear to the beach. Heels look great, but they can be deadly for your feet on that soft sand. Wearing shoes is out of the question because you’ll start sweating in two minutes, and there will be sand everywhere inside the shoe.
So, then what should you wear? Keep reading to learn how to choose the perfect sandals for the beach.
If you think it doesn’t matter what you wear to the beach, you could be making a big mistake. Walking on sand is not easy as your foot quickly sinks into it. This makes for an uneven walking path, and if you’re not wearing suitable footwear, you could easily twist your ankle, ruining your beach vacation.
Moreover, you could even risk ruining your sandals. For instance, if you wear leather sandals to the beach, they can stand some water. However, prolonged exposure to moisture or submersion underwater can cause it to shrink, leak color, or get damaged. Therefore, you need to learn how to choose the perfect sandals for the beach. Here are some styles you may want to select from.
These are the ideal option for a beach vacation. Also sometimes referred to as flip-flops, thongs are the most comfortable and convenient footwear for the beach. You can easily pack them with the rest of your beach gear or wear them straight from the house.
They usually have a flat sole which allows you to wear and walk in it comfortably. When you are on the beach, these sandals are not constantly sinking in the sand, making it hard to walk around. In addition to that, it has an entirely open design that lets you experience that cool sea breeze between your toes as well.
There’s no space on such types of sandals to collect sand, so you don’t even have to worry about tracking sand everywhere. Finally, they are easy to put on and pull off. One second you could be tanning under the sun, and the very next second, you have your thong sandals on and wading into the cool, calm waters while hunting for shells or strolling in taking in the scenery.
A beach vacation always looks different for everyone. Some people prefer hitting the water as soon as they arrive and staying there for as long as possible. Other people like spending time on the dry land, digging their toes in the sand, and taking long walks along the shoreline.
If you happen to fall in that latter category, we’d suggest wearing a pair of T-straps on your beach vacation. These also offer a lot of advantages. For instance, they provide more support than thongs. Since T-straps have a strap at the back, holding your ankle, they offer more support for your arch and the overall foot. This is necessary if you plan to walk a lot on the beach.
Moreover, the flat surface of the sandal will again make it easier to walk on the soft sand. T-straps also tend to come in a lot of designs, so you can flaunt your beaded sandals or other stylish T-straps as you wish. Finally, T-straps also usually feature an open design that allows easy ventilation. So, even if you sweat, the sea breeze will quickly dry it up, allowing you to walk around comfortably.
If you love wearing heels even on a beach vacation or want to elongate your legs, traditional heels won’t work. As mentioned earlier, they will quickly sink into the soft sand, making it difficult and awkward for you to walk correctly. Not to mention, it will defeat the purpose of wearing heels altogether.
In such a situation, what you need are wedges. When you are confused about how to choose the perfect sandals for the beach, consider choosing wedges. Just like heels, these have raised soles which can give you height and uplift your whole outfit.
Moreover, since the outer sole is entirely flat, you won’t struggle with walking on the sand either. Wedges are also a great option when you have a party or wedding to attend on the beach. Simple thongs or T-straps can be a little too casual. However, with wedges, you can combine style and comfort to complete your beach look.
So, the next time you are planning to hit the beach, don’t forget to pack the proper footwear. Luckily, now you know precisely how to choose the perfect sandals for the beach. Depending on what you plan to do during your beach vacation, you can either select the thongs or the wedges.
To add some style to it, you can even pick jeweled or beaded sandals so that you can make sure you stand out from the rest of the crowd at the beach.
And if you are wondering where you can find cute, beaded sandals or jeweled wedges for your beach vacation, look no further than The Accessory Barn.
We have a wide range of sandals for every style and every occasion. From leather sandals to beaded slide sandals, white sandals, sandals with jewels there’s something for everyone.
So, head on over check out all the styles!
